Magic 08 Fashion Show

The world’s largest fashion trade event, The MAGIC Marketplace, is poised to showcase the biggest and best assortment of brands, reflecting an exciting period of growth and momentum for the industry and its business. Every August and February, the fashion industry converges in Las Vegas for the most influential event in the business.

At The Mandalay Bay Convention Center, PREMIUM at MAGIC will unveil “The Indigo Gallery”, a newly dedicated denim area that will house some of the industry’s top brands, including Lucky Brand Jeans, Vintage Basics, Girbaud, Ami Jeans, Justing Jeans, Yaso, M.O.D, CMT and Twice. Street Unlimited is experiencing growth in exhibitors and attendees, particularly with the addition of several new MMA brands, including Ecko Unltd. MMA, Jaco Clothing, Form Athletics, Untamed Industries LLC and Affliction Athletics (X-treme Couture, Throwdown). The excitement of MMA will further come to life on and off the show floor, with the debut of a UFC ring displaying exhibition sparring and training in Street, and a World Extreme Cagefighting Title Fight featuring Cruz vs. Benavidez being held in conjunction with MAGIC at The Palms Casino Resort August 18th.

In its fourth season, S.L.A.T.E. continues to develop into THE place to be if you are a directional “life-style” brand. In addition to the likes of Stussy, 10 Deep Clothing, LRG, Crooks & Castles and OBEY, this August S.L.A.T.E. welcomes brands such as DGK and The Hundreds to the line-up of must-see brands.

The Las Vegas Convention Center will also remain one of the market’s most bustling business epicenters come August with the celebration of Women’s Wear Daily’s 100th anniversary. In homage to the publication’s outstanding legacy in the industry, WWDMAGIC will host a fashion retrospective, curated by WWD, of iconic images from their archives. The exhibit will highlight unforgettable moments in fashion from the last century, decade-by-decade.
